Versado is honoured to support the 2019 Decant Gala in Toronto on May 4, 2019. It's billed as, "a maravilloso evening filled with dining, dancing, and fundraising," and it's all in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Highlights of the evening are the cultural and culinary delights of Argentina, exquisite sommelier paired wines, an array of wine lots and experiences in a silent auction, exciting live auction items, and the Key to a Cure auction, all hosted by Ben Mulroney.
Both the 2010 Reserva (a special re-release for this event) and 2015 Malbec will be served at the dinner. Ann and Peter have also donated a stay at Villa Viamonte that will be paired in a package with VIP winery visits in Mendoza.

There's lots of great information from Wines of Argentina rep Liz Luzza (Ontario & Atlantic Canada), shared here by winecurrent.com, including the reason April 17 was selected as Malbec World Day.
Ann and Peter are celebrating in Argentina, and they hope you are celebrating too, maybe with some Versado?
A 91 score from Vic Harradine in today's winecurrent.com newsletter for our 2014 Versado Malbec:
"Inky black in the glass, this blossoms with lifted aromas of floral notes, grilled herbs and mixed spice. It’s rich and sumptuous on the palate with flavours of black currant and dark cherry with both melding nicely with wisps of aromatic bitters. It’s framed by racy, lip-smacking acidity and underpinned by firm tannin. This showcases deft balance, complexity, depth and is just simply delicious. The finish lingers, you shouldn’t, pick up a few bottles; the price-quality balance tips in your favour. Aerate/decant two hours to enhance your imbibing pleasure."
